파일 싱크 및 데이터 클라우드 컴퓨팅 류의 서비스들은 대형 업체가 아니면 쉽게 뛰어들기 힘듭니다. 최근 MS, 구글, 야후의 행보를 묶어 봤습니다.

MS 스카이드라이브, 2008년 12월에 25GB로 확대

최근 구글은 Brian Ussery 라는 블로거에게 꼬리가 밟혔습니다.

야후 브리프케이스 서비스 폐쇄
야후는 브리프케이스라는 최근 파일 저장 서비스를 3월 말까지만 운영하겠다고 밝혔습니다. 10여년 동안 계속 30MB 제한을 받아온 서비스입니다. TB, GB 시대에 MB라니요. 서비스 이용 빈도가 낮아서 (당연히) 폐쇄하는 것이 확실시되지만, MS와 구글의 행보에 우연히 맞물려 대조적인 사례로 언급되고 있네요. 오비이락입니다.
